Cedarwood Oils are extracted from various species of the Cedarwood tree. These oils are all extracted from the wood and bark of their respective species of Cedarwood trees. They are all commonly used in aromatherapy, perfumery, personal care, and home care products. Cedarwood Texas Essential Oil is extracted from wood of the Juniperus mexicana tree.
(Note that, despite its common name, Texas Cedarwood Oil is not technically true cedarwood oil. It is extracted from juniper trees, which have a different botanical classification than cedar trees. While they share some similar properties, their aroma profiles and chemical compositions differ from true Cedarwood essential oils.)
