What are Absolutes & Oleoresins 

Absolutes and oleoresins are highly concentrated extracts obtained from botanical sources. While both deliver powerful natural aromas, they differ in composition and extraction method:

• Absolutes are extracted using solvent or enfleurage methods to capture delicate aromatic compounds that may be lost in steam distillation.
• Oleoresins are semi-solid extracts containing essential oils and natural resins, produced by solvent extraction or CO₂ processes.

These materials are valued for their intensity, authenticity, and stability in fragrance and flavor applications.
